Mountain Biking

Like trekking, mountain biking in Nepal is exciting and spectacular. Away from the main roads villages are connected to each other mainly by tracks which make very good riding. It is possible to ride some of the major trekking routes.  

There are many roads and trails in and around the Kathmandu valley, and this is where we run our trips. Our main base is at Dhulikel about 20 km E of Kathmandu at an altitude of 1800m. From our hotel a magnificent panorama of the Himalayas stretching from Annapurna to Everest is visible from the bedroom windows, especially at sunrise. From here we run day trips out to various villages which offer ample opportunity to enjoy the riding and experience the culture of rural Nepal.
